Ctrip has announced a partnership with destination guide content provider ArrivalGuides, to make its point of interest information available across its platforms. This partnership allows information for around 47,000 points of interest (POIs) from ArrivalGuides’ database of over 550 destinations to be made available to Ctrip users.
“Ctrip would like to work with an experienced partner like ArrivalGuides to incorporate industry leading destination information into our platforms. This will help us rapidly expand, and ensure the quality and relevance, of our content offerings,” said Maxwell Sun, Head of Marketing for Ctrip’s International Business Unit.
As the largest OTA in China, international expansion is a large component of Ctrip’s future goals. Incorporating ArrivalGuides extensive destination content will expedite this process and give Ctrip users access to useful, high-quality information on popular POIs around the world. ArrivalGuides content will be made available to over 250 million registered Ctrip members.

Ctrip offers accommodation reservation, transportation ticketing, packaged tour and corporate travel management services. Incorporating ArrivalGuides content will allow Ctrip customers to make more informed purchasing decisions, as well as get more out of their travels.
